Join us for the final B-Meet of the Fall Series.

At the same time we'll update the  photo on the Orienteering Ottawa page of the club website and what better time to do this than at a meet where there is a mass start and when many members have the new club outfit. We invite you to be part of the picture (with your new outfit if you have one but you are still most welcome if you haven't). At 10:45 we'll gather near the pavilion for brief pre-race instructions at the everyone will gather between the Orienteering Ottawa banners for the picture.

NO Pre-registration is required but registration will start slightly earlier on race day.

You will have the option of three individual classic courses. Each course will have two loops and a map exchange. You will only require 1 SI dibbler.

Novice: 3.6 km

Intermediate: 4.4 km

Advanced: 7.0 km

OR

You may pair up and do a two loop relay. Each team member must have their own SI dibbler.

Novice: - each loop about 1.8 km, 9 or 10 controls each, all control sites on trails on the west side of the lake

Intermediate: - each loop about 2.2 km, 6 controls each with all control sites within 50 m of a trail mostly on the west side of the lake

Advanced: - each loop about 3.5 km, 7 controls each with all control sites off a trail offering many different route choice options each loop with different legs using both sides of the lake

Fees: Each person pays normal individual entry fees and SI rentals as required.

Schedule for Race Day Sunday November 15, 2015

Registration:   9:45 AM to 11:00 AM.

Starts for Individual Classic Courses:10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Relay Pre-race Instructions and Group Picture: 10:45 AM...We'll briefly go over the relay procedure and then gather for a group picture.

Mass Start for First Runners: 11:00 AM

Second/Late Mass Start for Runners: 12:00 PM

Cut-Off / Finish Time: All runners must have reported to the finish before 2:00 PM

Directions :  The entrance to Lac Beauchamp is off Boul. Maloney east of Boul. Labrosse.  You can reach it from Hwy 50, exit Labrosse South to Maloney and take a left.  The entrance will be on your left a few hundred metres along.
