Map: Britannia Park

This is a FREE information session for anyone interested in any of our youth programs: FUNdamentals for 6-9 year olds, Learn to Train for 9-12 year olds, and our Adventure Program for ages 10+. The session will take place at the old trolley station picnic shelter in Britannia Park from 6:30 to 7:30. The information session for parents will be at the picnic tables under the shelter, the kids session will be outside in the park. The evening will start with an overview of how the programs will work and then we will go into more detail about each of the programs. At the end we will open it up for questions and discussion and someone will talk to those that are interesting in volunteering with the program. If anyone has any questions about the Basics and Beyond program we will be able to answer those as well.

There will also be outdoor program activities for kids with some of our experienced program coaches. We encourage children to come along and try it out!

We encourage both those that are already signed up and those that are potentially interested in joining us. No advanced notice is necessary.

When: 6:30 to 7:30 pm, Tuesday, September 4th

Where: Britannia Park's Old Trolley Station Picnic Shelter (Greenview Ave). Use the first parking lot on the right (the Britannia Beach Parking on Google maps) after the bottom of the hill in the park. There will be a large Orienteering Ottawa banner on Greenview Ave at the entrance to the parking lot.

Note that we have changed the time and location from what was originally on the calendar.
