Bruce Pit Classic Event Fall Series

This is a new map of Bruce Pit and Arlington Woods. There is a large fenced-in Dog Park on the map where dogs are allowed to run free. No controls have been set within the Dog Park. The map is heavily trailed with patches of open woods. Unfortunately there are a few dark green patches. I highly recommend your route choice avoids the dark green areas where possible.
The usual four courses are available: Novice – 3.1 km Intermediate – 4.0 km Short Advanced – 5.0 km Long Advanced - 6.1 km Registration is from 10:00 - 11:00 and the starts from 10:30 - 11:30. The Arena (registration and finish) is located in a neighborhood park on the south side of Banner Road, 1km off Greenbank Road in Trend Village. Please park on the south side of the road adjacent to the park. All participants must report to the finish by 2:00 pm. Word of caution : Poison ivy is in the area. Take action by wearing full leg cover, and remove and wash clothes and legs carefully after the race. This is not a concern for the novice course.
