Map: Cité des Jeunes

This is the last week of our eight week training program and this week's session will require you to put everything you've learned together.  We will start by going over all the techniques and skills we've learned, deliberate planning, looking ahead for features and attackpoints, be they contours, vegetation, whatever, visualising the terrain in the control circle and knowing exactly where to expect the control, and reading ahead to start planning the next leg. Then we get to practice this on a very challenging course in some of Orienteering Ottawa's most technical terrain.  When you get through that you can get through anything!  As always we will wrap up with a discussion about how this went.  And then you're ready for the upcoming Club Champs and a break for the summer before we meet again in the fall to do our final preparation for NAOC2014!

Meet in the parking lot north of the track by the Relais Plein Air off of Cité des Jeunes Boulevard at 6:30 for discussion. We will be heading out on course around 7:00.
