Carleton University Training - Sprint Route Choices Advanced Training
September 25th 2014 6:30pm - 8:15pm
Map: Carleton University
This week we will switch our focus to sprint orienteering. The exercise involves two short sprint courses designed specifically to force you to look at the entire route and decide a) if the route is even possible and b) how long and how fast it is so you can determine if it's the best route.
As usual we will start by going over the exercise and then will allow time for a detailed discussion about what you should focus on during the exercise. Those that would rather not participate in the discussion are welcome to go out on course (around 6:40). Those that want to stay for the discussion can expect to start the exercise around 7:00. We will meet at the parking lot south of the baseball diamonds in Brewer Park (see pin below) at 6:30.
