Sunday Map Run Running Training

Map: Stony Swamp

Hello all,

This week we go west on a line-o set by Stefan in Stoney Swamp...an area we haven't been to in a while...and a flashback to the first Sunday Map Run by the running group 5 years ago...

The loop is a mixture of terrain running and trail running.... The entire loop is 16.8 km but there are many spots for cutting short and doing a loop of your own choosing

There will be no markers...O-gear good idea...(whistle, compass, map reading gear, o-shoes (terrain will probably be wet),..)

We will be running on an old 1:15 000 map and starting from a different spot ...

Start:

Meeting 9:00 AM starting shortly afterwards

Where:

Starting point is the NCC parking lot on Old Richmond Road (south of junction with West Hunt Club Rd, and under the big power line...see link and map below).
