Fun ski orienteering event on the beautiful Nakkertok trails.

To celebrate the timely return of winter, everyone is invited to
participate/compete in Ski-Orienteering this coming Sunday morning (March
5) on the outstanding Nakkertok trail network. Three interesting courses
with lengths 3.6k, 6.6k, and 10.3k will be waiting for you to discover.
These course lengths are straight line (as the crow flies) - you will ski
further following the trails. Registration desk will open at 9:45 with
starts from 10:00 to 11:00.

Note that the entry fee for this event will be a slightly higher than usual
as it includes the cost of a mandatory trail day-use fee charged by the
Nakkertok Ski Club. The trail use fee covers costs associated with youth
programs, trail maintenance and grooming, which is world class. They even
have snow making equipment! Bring a lunch and enjoy the trails again in
the afternoon.

*NOTE*
The Nakkertok trail network includes narrower trails groomed for classic
only, as well as wider trails groomed for both classic and skate
techniques. To avoid skate-skiing on the classic-only trails, all
competitors must use the classic technique. Snowshoeing is also not allowed on the trails.

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
