SS3 - Carlington Park Summer Solstice Series

Our next event of the anniversary Summer Solstice Series will be held Tuesday June 18th on the Carlington map. The start will be located steps from the West end of Morisset Ave. There is plenty of parking at the end of Morisett Ave and on streets nearby.
For this event we will use the map in scale of 1:7,500. The area is a mix of woods and residential streets. Please exercise caution on steep hills and while crossing roads. We have spotted patches of poison ivy in some locations. While you are not expected to cross those sites, it is recommended that you wash your gear upon return home.
Registration is from 5:30 - 6:30 with a mass start at 6:45. You will have exactly one hour to find as many controls as you can. Once again we will be using the handicap system to give everyone a chance at coming in at the top of the results list. If this is your first SS event enter your handicap online to save having to work it out at registration. If you will be running with youngsters, complete your registration by 6:15 and join in the mini-clinic where you will get an advance view of the map so you can plan your course before the mass start.
