The event this Sunday will take place at Wesley Clover Parks.
The Wesley Clover Parks map is divided into an open forest portion & an open field type of terrain. There is a rail track separating the two portions. Along the rail track there is a fence and dense vegetation.
For the three longer courses (intermediate, short & long advanced) you will be required to cross the rail track. There are two passable spots where you can cross the tracks, either south on Corkstown Rd or further north and west on the track. This second crossing spot is marked on the map.
The forest portion has new bicycle paths that are not marked on the map. The Corkstown camp site is active at this time and is marked as out of bounds. Please stay clear of all campsites and the out of bounds area.
There will be longer legs within the forest, and shorter ones (sprint style) in the open field. The safety bearings is south, to Corkstown Rd.
The courses:
- Novice: 2.2km / 11 controls
- Intermediate: 3.3km / 13 controls
- Short Adv: 4.6km / 12 controls
- Long Adv: 6.8km / 18 controls
Parking: Parking is at Wesley Clover Parks, 401 Corkstown Rd - the equestrian park entrance.
