Wear proper footwear, as the ground will be slippery with lots of leaves and rocks, especially if wet. There are not many marshes on the map, and they have become dry since the summer. Some narrow trails might be hard to follow with the leaf coverage.

Be aware that courses will seem longer due to the elevation change - there are lots of contours on the courses, especially for the advanced ones.

You'll have the choice of the following courses (scale at 1:7 500 for all courses, to help with readability)

• Novice - 2.5 km, 15 m climb

• Intermediate - 3.0 km, 90 m climb

• Short advanced - 3.9 km, 120 m climb

• Long advanced - 6.3 km, 210 m climb

Note that the Gatineau Parkway is now closed to all motorized vehicles until the Spring. There will still be some cyclists so be careful when crossing it.
