Cedarview West Fall Event Fall Series

Our first meet of the Fall 2023 will be on the Cedarview map.

Location: 595 Moodie Dr, Nepean, ON K2H 8A8. It is the site of the former D.A. Moodie school and we will use their parking lot. (45.310797, -75.826316)
There will likely be people in the woods and teams playing soccer on the fields adjacent to the school so please be respectful to others on the trail and do not cross a soccer field if there is a game underway.

Courses:
We are offering 4 courses. The map has a lot of green on it and you should take it into account for your route planning. Some of it is very dense and prickly in places. The trails are generally in good shape and the forest has been dry. August rains contributed to a bumper crop of mosquitos and you should use bug spray to help fend off mosquitos and ticks.
All courses have a 700m walk to the start through the residential neighbourhood.
The Finish will be on the part of the field close to the school (across a small bridge from soccer fields).
There is water on the course at control 3 on the intermediate, control 4 on the short advanced and control 9 on the long advanced.

• Novice - 3.0km; 9 controls
• Intermediate – 3.2km; 8 controls. Maps as well as loose descriptions will be available at registration.
• Short Advanced - 4.3km; 10 controls / Long Advanced – 6.6km; 14 controls Maps will be available for you at the start.
