Thursday Practice -Asticou Thursday Orienteering Practice

The third Thursday night Orienteering practice for the season is this Thursday, April 25th at 6:30PM at Asticou. Please meet at the parking lot on the west side of the ring road.
The map will be at 1:7,500 with contours at 5m where the focus of the training will be route choice. The area for the training has lots of trails and white forest but also includes many areas of rocky ground which can impact the speed of travel in the woods.
If you plan to attend, please send an email to stefan@ottawaoc.ca by Wednesday noon to make sure there is a map waiting for you.
The cost is $10 per session (please bring cash and exact change), or you can purchase a practice pass for $50 covering all eight sessions. https://ottawaoc.ca/
Team Canada members can participate free of charge.
At all sessions there will be a sign-in sheet. Please sign in when arriving and sign-out before leaving so we know that everyone is back and no one left on the course.
