As it is race weekend you will need to choose your route to the orienttering event carefully and allow extra time. This interactive map should help you to work out your best route plan. Additionally, at the end of this email is a list of road closures from CTV.

Parking: On nearby streets off Boulevard Cité des Jeunes

Registration: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Start Window: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Course Closes: 2:00 PM – all participants must report to the finish by this time, as controls will be collected promptly.

Courses Offered:

• Novice – 2.4 km
• Intermediate – 3.1 km
• Short Advanced – 3.5 km
• Long Advanced – 5.5 km

Note for Novice Course Participants:
Due to control placement restrictions on this map, some trail junctions will not have standard flags. These will be marked with orange or pink ribbons instead.

Water Station:
Located at a trail junction on novice and intermediate courses. Accessible from both the short and long advanced courses (off-direct route).

Weather:
The forecast looks comfortable for a great day of running or hiking in the woods.

Pre-Registration for new-comers If you have never attended an Orienteering Ottawa event before, you can complete a pre-registration form at home 36 hours in advance . By providing your personal information here in advance of the event, we can include you in our on-site database, give you a better chance to read the waiver before online acceptance, make the registration process faster for you and speed up registration for all. There is no charge at this point - the final registration and payment will be on-site on the day of the event.

If you are a returning member and have not yet renewed your membership, please complete the membership form 36 hours in advance to save confusion at registration. If you do complete a membership late, bring with you a copy of the email confirmation.
