Map: Lansdowne Park
Parking and meeting point: We will meet at the corner of Holmwood Ave and O'Conner St. There is parking on the street or you can use the underground Lansdowne parking.
Training: This training will focus on sprint orienteering strategies on a map that no one has run on more than once.
The exercise will consist of a series of 1.5 - 2km orienteering loops. There will be pin flags out for controls. For the intermediate and advanced participants we will discuss sprint techniques and you will pick a different one to work on on each loop. HPP athletes should treat this as a cruise/tempo interval session while trying to be as smooth as possible with their navigation.
HPP and Train to Train program athletes will start with a group warm-up that anyone is welcome to join.
