Organizer: Jeff Teutsch (Event Director)

Map: Rockliffe Park

Parking and meeting point:

We will meet in the far corner of the Rockcliffe Park Parking lot P1 (see google maps here). There is plenty of parking or, as always, we encourage cycling or taking the bus as green forms of transportation.

Practice details:

This week's practice will be a fun park orienteering exercise with a variety of training types together in one set of courses. Possible elements include: control picking, corridor, line-o, simplified maps (veg, contours only, etc. and more.

You will want to have a headlamp with you this week. It will be dark from the get-go! We recommend a headlamp with a rating of at least 500 lumens and more is better. If you have any questions about headlamps just ask (jeff@ottawaoc.ca)

All participants should also bring a compass (we will have a few extras if you don't have one) and, optionally, a control description holder

Registration:

In order to guarantee that you get a freshly printed map please send an email to jeff@ottawaoc.ca by noon on Thursday. We will do our best to accommodate those that register Thursday afternoon by sharing maps
