Ski-O Kemptville Winter Series

The weather has not been supportive of our winter schedule but we hope to see you this Sun Feb 25th at the Kemptville Trails location for some Ski-O and Score-O that can be done on skis or snowshoes. Ski-O will be using groomed tracks in the area of the local dog park and Score-O will use the same track and the rest of the forest map with all controls on trails to facilitate skiing to collect them.
The following courses will be offered:
- Short Ski-O - 1.3km 7 controls
- Medium Ski-O -4.8km 12 controls
- Score-O - 19 controls
We expect nordic ski tracks to be rather icy after the Sat flash freeze but we hope by Sun morning they will be in decent shape. There is snow in the forest and all trails on the map are used by walkers. There is a snowmobile trail crossing the map. It is not exclusive to snowmobilers but please pay attention to the traffic when you are on that trail.
Timing:
Registration: 10:00 - 11:00
Starts: 10:30 - 11:30
Finish: All participants must report to finish by 2pm
