Thursday Orienteering Practice, Walden Park Thursday Orienteering Practice

The Thursday night O-practice on Oct 24 will be in a newmade map in Kanata. We meet at the Walden Park parking lot, 130 Walden Drive in Kanata. https://maps.app.goo.gl/
This is the final Thursday night training for the fall season. We will do a route choice exercise in an area with many trails, walkways, residential streets, and park land. We will use a new map in 1:10,000 scale. There will be two courses, approximately 4.5km and 7.5km, respectively. Both courses have options for short cuts.
Regular running shoes or trail shoes are recommended. Do not use metal studded shoes as part of the routes are on pavement.
Start at 6:30pm, finish by 8pm. You must have a headlamp for this training.
The cost is $10 (cash please) for those who have not bought the practice pass. Free for Team Canada members.
