The Fall Orienteering season begins with a practice on this Thursday September 4th at 6:30PM.
Come and explore the recently redesigned Kiweki Point and Major’s Hill Park on an updated sprint map. The exercise will be Sprint-O intervals in a mix of detailed parkland and urban terrain. Map scale 1:4,000, 2m contours.

Cost $5 per person, pay with cash please. (Sorry no season’s pass for this fall).
Please email stefan@ottawaoc.ca if you plan to come so I can print enough maps.
Please bring a map case if you have one.
The sun is setting around 7:30pm, it will be twilight at 8 o’clock. If the weather is overcast you may want to bring a headlamp to help the map reading.
For safety, you have to sign the attendance sheet at the start and before leaving. Everyone has to be back at the finish no later than 8:00PM.
