Nakkertok Ski-O Winter Series
February 1st 2026 9:00am - 12:00pm
Map: Nakkertok South
Registration and start window is open from 9:00-10:30. You must complete your course and download/check-out by 12:00! The Nakkertok adventure group will be using our course in the afternoon so we need to clear out early. This also gives you plenty of time before the AGM later in the day.
There is a trail fee in addition to regular registration cost: $10 for adults/$5 for juniors, please bring exact change. Limited map boards are available to rent at registration.
We will be exploring the main trail network stretching from Weber Pond in the North to Weber Farm in the South. Courses mostly avoid the escarpment adjacent to the arena as it is extremely steep and often busy. Expect challenging route-choices and navigation on each leg!
Three courses are available for you to choose from:
Short: Point to point, 5.7 km shortest route, 90 m climb, 8 controls
Long: Point to point, 11.9 km shortest route, 170 m climb, 17 controls
Adventure: Score-O, 18 controls, 90 minute time limit
- Participants must use cross country skis (classic or skate), walking or snowshoeing is forbidden.
- Some trails are designated as classic / double-pole only, they are mapped with an orange dashed line. Using skate or half-skate / marathon-skate technique on these trails is forbidden.
- One way trails are mapped with purple chevrons denoting the direction of travel. Traveling in the wrong direction on these trails is forbidden.
- The start and finish for all courses is in the arena adjacent to the chalet. Participants may pass by the finish during their course, those with SIAC chips should be careful not to get too close and risk a premature finish punch.
